It poses stringent latency requirements for both video and control traffic. This paper studies the video quality and latencies for UAV teleoperation over LTE using ns3 simulations. A key ingredient is the latency budget model. We observe that the latency of the video is higher and more sensitive to mobility than that of the control traffic. The latency is influenced by the traffic variation caused by the variable bit rate of the streaming application.
