Would be great if it would support SPDY (highly anticipated as HTTP2.0 now that MS has “validated” it), thus you would get true pipelining (and not the restricted version that 1.1 proposes).

i trying read on vlc 2.0.1,the sintel_trailer.mpd but vlc can’t read this mpd Error is(part of debug list) :

the first time, I saw he was missing the id, I added it but still do the same error..
I understand why don’t read the file .I can read the mpd of Big_buck_bunny and watch ..

This writing is a bit iffy. Like reoeyvne else is pointing out, this doesn’t seem very open. I would encourage you guys to meet and revise the wording and/or decision. We love Google but, let’s stay honest with each other no? I think this is a case where the whole web does not consider this an open move – so either tell it like it is, or include h264 and continue forward with the open stance. Don’t say open while removing something that we all consider open

Simply download the nightlys for your system from nigthlies or checkout vlc through git. The patches are already in the offcial git repo. In our video section is also a video which shows that it works.

I’m sorry that I can’t find the patches from the link. I have download the latest version of vlc in windows and ubuntu, which don’t contain these patches. I will be grateful if you can provide me the patches by email or any ways convenient for you.

Is included the “DASH Bandwith adaptation” graph in any patch? I think that could be very interesting for a better comprehension of the DASH adaptation… Thank you a lot!
